Attitude & Professionalism

  • As a court monitor, you are a direct representation of Bounce! You must ALWAYS be polite to customers and act professional.

  • All team members must have a positive and respectful attitude towards management, coworkers and visitors. No exceptions. Infraction of this policy can result in your termination.

  • You must address all visitors politely. This includes referring to adults as ma’am and sir, and refer to children as buddy and sweetie. Never point at people and always try to smile when talking to visitors. 

Be nice when enforcing the rules. If there are people who will not listen, get a manager.

Misc. Company Policies

  • Once you are assigned to a court, you cannot leave. You cannot switch courts with another worker, you must go where you are assigned.

  • If you are caught away from your court you will be punished (this can include termination)

  • You must be facing your court at all times, anyone facing away from their court, not watching the customers will be punished (this can include termination)

  • You must treat all customers, including children and parents, with respect at all time. Refrain from cursing and talking about inappropriate topics.

  • After your shift, you are expected to leave or wait in the break room. You may not talk to co-workers on the courts or behind the front desk

  • Whenever there is a customer complaint or problem, get a manager immediately. It does not matter whether you think this is a small or large problem.

Parking Policy

Team members are instructed to park in the front lot (the first lot of the building when you pull in - on the opposite side of our entrance).

Cell Phone Policy

Team members are not permitted to use their cell phone while clocked in under any circumstances. All phones must be locked in the break room at all times (or left in your car/at home). Anyone caught on their phone or any electronic devide (such as an Apple Watch) will be terminated.

Appearance & Dress Code

- All team members must be wearing their "STAFF" tee shirt or a "STAFF" sweatshirt.

- All team members need to wear a name tag.

- You must look put together at all times (no pajama pants or backwards hats).

- During hotter months you are only permitted to wear athletic shorts. Absolutely no jean shorts, soffe shorts, or Nike Pros.

- Court monitors must bring their Bounce socks.

Rules To Follow

- DO NOT talk to the monitors/party hosts when there are customers on your court

- DO NOT lay down / sit down when customers are on your court

- It is YOUR job to enforce the rules on your court to the customers (DO NOT sit there and look around and not enforce the rules; it is your job to do so)

- Your walkie needs to be on you with the power on at ALL times (if yours isn't working please ask a manager for a new one).

- DO NOT hang out at the front desk if you are not supposed to be there (this includes hanging out with the workers socializing, taking your break and just sitting there, etc)

- DO NOT sit down or lay on the rock walls at the ropes course (it looks terrible) it is your job to always be focusing on the customers at the ropes course, not talking and socializing with your co-workers

- NEVER talk back to a customer (if you cannot handle the situation properly, please call over a manager)

- RESPECT YOUR MANAGERS: if you cannot do so, you will be no longer have a job at Bounce

- DO NOT jump when you are clocked in (it is your job to be enforcing the rules and to supervise; you are not here to play around)

- Everyone needs to clock in and out for their shifts (not hard to do) this includes when you take a break you must clock out and clock back in when you return from your break

- ENFORCE THE RULES ON YOUR COURT (do not assume the customer knows the rules) this is what you are here to do and what your job consists of

- DO NOT disrespect your coworkers

Eating Policy

  • Eating on the courts is prohibited.

  • You may not buy food from the front desk unless you are going on break or leaving after a shift.

  • If you are caught eating on the courts, you will be asked to throw it out.

  • PLEASE EAT BEFORE YOUR SHIFT

  • You are not entitled to take a break to eat if you are not working 6 hours or more consequently
